Surrey Satellite Technology

Surrey Satellite Technology built the first ever reprogrammable satellite in 1981 using commercial off the shelf components. Since then they have been pioneer in the field with an outstanding list of achievements. Just some of these include: First satellite to use nitrous oxide as a propellant, First use of propulsion on a nanosatellite and the first satellite to have a web address in orbit. They are also leading an inspiring initiative to educate scientists from developing countries in the design and development of space technology. In the interview Andrew Greenhalgh, Head of Marketing, gives us an expert insight into not only their company but the industry as a whole.
